FAQ

What should I wear?

Autumn in Tokyo ranges in temperature from 9°C to 17°C. We would suggest dressing in layers as many restaurants, shopping centers and indoor locations will have the heat pumped up, so bring layers that are easy to take on and off and easy to carry. For the day of the wedding, smart casual attire is advised, however if you wish to break out your best dress robes, you are welcome to do so! We also encourage you to express your nerdiness (Simpsons, Harry Potter, Star Trek, etc) with any unique additions to your outfit.

How do I get to the venue?

There are several ways to get to Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. Our recommended method (if you don't mind a short walk) is to transfer at Ikebukuro Station to the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, and alight at Edogawabashi Station. From there, it's a 14-minute (900m) walk to the venue. You can also take the Bunkyo Community Bus B-GURU "Mejirodai-Kohinata route" departing from Edogawabashi Station every 20 minutes, which costs ¥100 per person. IC cards are accepted, or you can purchase a ticket at any of the locations listed here.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

This is an indoor wedding. We recommend comfortable shoes as there will be different locations throughout the day.

Can I bring a date?

As much as we would love to have everyone, because of venue limitations, please only bring who was addressed on your invitation. If you have a question about this, feel free to contact Matthew or Brittiney.

When is the RSVP deadline?
